Orange Barrio Historical Society (OBHS)

Mission Statement

The mission of the "Orange Barrio Historical Society" (OBHS) is to preserve and promote the historical, socio-cultural contributions of the Mexican American community in the city of Orange. The OBHS will work in collaboration with the greater community of Orange to acknowledge the importance of preserving local history in order to promote official and community recognition of the valuable social and historical heritage of the "Cypress Street Barrio." The OBHS will strive to preserve the history of the "Cypress Street Barrio" as an integral part of the local historical and cultural heritage to benefit future generations.
